Diriwayatkan daripada Abu Hurairah r.a katanya: Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:

"Orang mukmin sama ada lelaki ataupun perempuan akan sentiasa diuji oleh Allah s.w.t, sama ada dirinya, anaknya ataupun hartanya sehinggalah dia menghadap Allah s.w.t tanpa dia membawa dosa sedikit pun."

description of Love by Maulana Jalalu-'d-din Muhammad I Rumi

Through love, thorns becomes roses
Through love, dregs taste like pure wine

Through love, reverse of fortune seems good fortune
Through love pains are as healing balms

Through love the Devil becomes a Houri
Through love ghouls turn to angels

Through love, sickness is health
Through love, wrath is as mercy

Through love, a prison seems a love bower
Without love a grate full of ashes seems a garden

Through love the stake becomes a throne
Through love burning fire is pleasing light
Through love gried is as joy

That is LOVE

However much we describe and explain love
When we fall in love we are ashamed of our words

Explaination by the tongue makes most things clear
But love unexplained is clearer

When pen hasted to write
On reaching the subject of love it split in twain

When the discourse touched on the matter of love
Pen was broken and paper torn

In explaining it reasons stick fast, as an ass in mire!
Naught but love itself can explain love and lovers
